The Start to Our Not-So Trusty Van Life Adventures

So I thought I'd start this quirky blog on the back of being forced to LITERALLY roll start the van this frosty winter morning at 8am, with my parents, down our street, in order to haul it to the mechanic half an hour late. This eventful morning was one to remember with dad running around in mum's ugg boots and booty-tight riding shorts and mum and I pushing our 1987 dark green ex-army van, (yet to be named) gaining minimal pace, with some friendly tradies cackling, and saying "Mmm looks like it needs a service!". No shit Sherlock. Unfortunate flashback to 2019 when Sadie, my 1998 Camry, decided not to start after school and then sending 'SOS' to Dad and roll, and jump start the car, cringing as people walked past.
23/06 ~ The night Emi and I bought the van and drove it home from Victor Harbour, after a 4-month (roughly) agonising search for one with a half decent size, engine/battery (though proven wrong with that hopeful assumption this morning) and cute vibes (below).

The current and bland AF status of our van (left). Currently nervously awaiting John the Mechanics verdict or whether to van is somewhat safe or just totally gone and would be stupid to take it anywhere but the junk yard.
Will keep you posted!!
Until next time :)
Elle
